About Hello! My name is Sepideh. I'm originally from Iran, but I've lived most of my life in Washington state and currently live in Kenmore, WA with my wonderful husband and two rumbustious sons.

Before beginning my career in pastry, I studied biomedical engineering at Washington State University and worked as an engineer and part-time artist. When I am not baking, I spend time with my family and friends or travel.

As a self-thought cake and pastry chef, I started Joon Sweets in early 2020 at the onset of the pandemic with a vision of combining my love for art, passion for pastries and commitment to clean ingredients. Joon Sweets is a licensed cottage food bakery and I take on a limited number celebration and wedding cake orders and encourage you to get in touch early to reserve yours.
